2024 Week 9: Rams 26, Seahawks 20

This was an entertaining game filled with some incredible plays and other plays that just made you shake your head. Every drive felt like you were switching channels to a different game, as both teams were so inconsistent.

The Rams (4-4) have now won three straight, and the NFC West is anyone’s game. I’m getting tired of talking about it every week. I think the Rams have a good shot at winning the division.

Seattle (4-5) came into this game as the first-place team and now they’re last, that’s how close this division is. The Seahawks have the 10th hardest schedule remaining.

===================================

QB Report:
- Matt Stafford (25/44 for 298 yards, 2TDs/1 INT) is heating up as the rest of the team has returned to the field. In the last two games, Stafford is averaging 288.5 yards, 3TDs/1INT and this has been with Puka hardly playing.

WR Report:
- Cooper Kupp (11-104-0/14) was already en route to a big game, and then Puka Nacua (1-11-0/4) was ejected for throwing a punch, even though he was just returning the favor. After the ejection, Kupp had an even bigger role, and it propelled Demarcus Robinson (6-94-2/9) into a massive to a massive game and even brought in the game-winner.

- Jaxon Smith-Njigba (7-180-2/13) had the best game of his career, and I’m not just saying that because he had a ridiculous stat line, he actually looked impressive for the first time in his career. Let’s see where this goes when DK Metcalf comes back.

D/ST Report:
- The Rams defense is starting to play well together, and now their rookies are heating up. Jared Verse and Braden Fiske combined for 3 sacks and 4 TFLs. The Rams D/ST has a solid schedule ahead, facing MIA, NE, PHI, NO.
