2024 Week 11: Ravens 16, Steelers 18

Another classic AFC North matchup between the Steelers and Ravens, and the Steelers won being the luckier team. Pittsburgh lead the time of possession 37/23 which is ridiculous, won the turnover battle 3/1, Justin Tucker missed TWO field goals, and even with all of that Pittsburgh won by 2. This was the most “Steelers” win ever, good defense, bad offense, and Chris Boswell making 6 field goals.

This win gives Pittsburgh (8-2) a 1.5 game lead over Baltimore, a huge win and if they can beat Cleveland tonight on TNF then they nearly have it locked up. They are in the drivers seat of the AFC North.

The Ravens (7-4) are still my favorite to win the division, but it’s slim, like 52/48 over PIT. Baltimore needs to win out to win the division, essentially, they could get away with dropping one more game.

===============================

QB Report:
- Russell Wilson (23/36 for 205 yards, 1 INT) is the only QB to not light up the Ravens defense this season, a great opportunity squandered. Russ threw past and missed a ton of open receivers. Russ is not a great QB anymore, he isn’t putting up great stat lines or anything, but there is one thing he does, and that is win. In his last 13 games, he is 10-3 as a starter, 4-0 with Pittsburgh, 6-3 with Denver.

RB Report:
- Jaylen Warren (9-41-0; 4 catches for 27 yards) has been performing pretty solid the last couple of weeks, he’s getting catches and more rushing attempts, he runs more efficiently than Najee Harris (18-63-0; 4 catches for 30 yards). Warren is 70 ypg since Russ took over.

WR/TE Report:
- Diontae Johnson (0-0-0/2) finally has more targets than games played as a Raven, but he still hasn’t done that with receptions yet (3 games, 4 targets, 1 catch). What a great trade by Baltimore, really going all in here! DJ played 11 snaps, most were early, and they tried to force the ball to DJ early as well, but Lamar missed him and then never went back.

- Isaiah Likely (4-75-0/5) led the tight ends for the first time since the Kansas City game, but Mark Andrews (2-22-0/3) is clearly the one to own. Likely is the more athletic of the two which works better against a stout defense, gets open quicker, shiftier, etc.

The two TEs combined for a 6-97-0/ day, which means Njoku could be an option tonight, and with the rain + good Steelers defense + no left tackle = Winston needs the easy option.

D/ST Report:
- Steelers Kicker Chris Boswell (6/6 FG) has taken the #1 kicker in fantasy spot from Brandon Aubrey after this game. Boswell has the best kicking setup in football right now, except for the fact that he will have to deal with the cold and weather for likely the rest of the season.
